Today I'm headed down to glorious Metropolis, IL to draw caricatures at their annual Superman Celebration. It's one of my favorite events of year, and has featured guests ranging from Brandon Routh to baby Barack Obama.

Sadly, it will be my last year drawing caricatures there. It's a twelve hour drive from my home in St. Paul, MN, and the older I get, the less desire I have to sit through that. I do plan on bringing my daughters down next year, though, and finally spend some time enjoying the festival I always work through. If you're in the area, swing on by and say hi. It's a delightful mashup of a comicon and a street fair that's kept me coming back since 2007. Good wholesome fun for the whole family. Highly recommend.
