Panel 1: (Kai approaches an abandoned parking ramp where the gang of hijackers from chapter one has gathered around a fire. Others lounge and watching TV.)
Girl: "KAI!!"

Panel 2 (group gathers around to greet and raz Kai, smiling and excited):
Character 1: "You OK?"
Character 2: "You whole?"
Character 3: "The hell you been?"
Character 4: "What happened?"
Character 5: "Prolly at his fancy magic school."
Character 6: "Where’s Aiga?"

Panel 3 (Rose, the leader, gives Kai a big hug)
Rose: "We wuz worried ‘boutchu, bruh."
"Now spill. How’d you ditch the sword bitch?"

Panel 4 (Kai responds, looking serious):
Kai: "It’s been wild! Aiga’s chillin’ in the hospital."

"F’real tho, we got an even bigger mess right now."

Panel 5: (holographic projection of Aiga in a hospital bed, smiling):
Aiga: "Sup clan."
